Kyra talks pets and `The Closer`
Born in New York City, Kyra Sedgwick is a
movie and TV actress.
TV fans know her as Brenda Leigh Johnson in the hit
drama The Closer (seen in the United States
on the TNT Network).
Kyra made her debut on a daytime soap opera,
Another World, when she was only sixteen.
Some of her film credits include "Born on the Fourth
of July" (1989), "Miss Rose White" (1992),
"Something to Talk About" (1995), "Phenomenon"
(1996), "The Woodsman" (2004), and "The Game Plan"
(2007).
In January 2007, Kyra, who is married to actor Kevin
Bacon, received a Golden Globe® award for her
performance as lead actress on The Closer.
