Actress writes her first children book
Actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley first
gained attention in 1991 as the radiant young bride
in the comedy feature film series, “Father of the
Bride and “Father of the Bride Part II,” starring
Steve Martin.
TV viewers know her as Dana in the long-running
sitcom, According To Jim, starring Jim
Belushi and
Courtney Thorne-Smith.
Kimberly has wrote and directed the short film
“Shade” in which she starred opposite Patrick
Dempsey. Other film roles include: “We Are
Marshall,” "How to Eat Fried Worms,” “How to Go Out
on a Day in Queens,” “Simpatico,” “Eden Court,”
“Elephant Juice,” “Safehouse,” “The War at Home,”
“Indian Summer,” and “Samuel Beckett is Coming
Soon.”
During the first
year of her marriage to country singer Brad
Paisley, Kimberly wrote a series of columns for
"Redbook" magazine about her own experiences as a
new bride. Additionally, she is actively involved with the Michael J.
Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research, St. Jude
Hospital, and the XP Foundation.

going-behind-the-scenes with the film, "Shade."
As part of the
promotional tour, Kimberly discusses co-authoring
her first children's book "Henry and the Hidden
Veggie Garden" with her father in support of the
Love Your Veggies Nationwide School Lunch Campaign.
