Jordan talks about her career
and the safe virtual world of Zwinky Cuties
Hailing from Loganville, Georgia, singer Jordan
Pruitt grew up in a close musical family.
Beginning at age 4, Jordan started singing in
public, which lead to performing at venues like
Centennial Olympic Park, Stone Mountain, Six Flags
Over Georgia and Atlanta's Fox Theater.
In 2006, she was signed to Hollywood Records and
released her first CD, "No Ordinary Girl" in 2007.
Even before the release of her debut album, Jordan
generated widespread excitement, with the track
"Outside Looking In," generating a million early
spins on her MySpace page. The track was also
featured in the Disney Channel film, "Read It And
Weep."
In 2006 and 2007, Jordan had four videos featured on
the Disney Channel, as well as constant airplay on
Radio Disney. On tour, she opened for the Cheetah
Girls and Vanessa Hudgens, and later opened for the
sold-out 40 city American tour of Disney’s "High
School Musical: The Concert."
In this 2008 interview with SIDEWALKS host Cindy
Rhodes, Jordan talks about her start, being a role
model, her second CD "Permission to Fly," and answers viewer questions. As part of the promotional tour,
Jordan tells us about Zwinky Cuties, a safe and
controlled virtual world for girls ages 6-12.
