Randy talks about his new book

Randy Jackson is a 20-year music industry veteran and Grammy Award®-winning rock bassist and record producer.

Along with playing in bands with Carlos Santana and Jerry Garcia, Randy was a member of the rock group Journey from 1986 to 1987. He played and toured with the San Francisco-based band for their 1986 album, "Raised on Radio."

He has recorded, toured, performed and produced records for Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, *NSYNC, Madonna, Elton John, Destiny's Child, Joss Stone, Travis Tritt and many more.

Randy is also a judge on American Idol, and executive producer of the hit MTV series Randy Jackson Presents: America’s Dance Crew.
