Jewel wants to improve The Lives Of Victims
Of Domestic Violence
Professionally known as Jewel, Jewel Kilcher
was born in Payson, UT, and spent much of her life
in Alaska.
She rose to stardom with her twelve-time platinum
debut album "Pieces of You," one of the best selling
debut albums of all time.
With more than 25 million in album sales and seven
records released, Jewel is an American Music Award
winner, MTV Video Music Award recipient and
three-time Grammy nominee.
Recently, Jewel hosted Nashville Star reality
show.
In this 2008 interview with SIDEWALKS host Cindy
Rhodes, Jewel
talks about about growing up in Alaska and working
with country music star John Rich (of Big and Rich)
on her CD "Perfectly Clear." As part of the
promotional tour, Jewel discusses “A Kiss for
Country” philanthropic campaign, which is dedicated
to helping end domestic violence.
