Actress has built a career playing tough women
who have had to face and overcome adversity

Born in Salisbury, Maryland, actress Linda Hamilton found major fame with her memorable role in “The Terminator” and its sequel, “Terminator 2: Judgment Day."  

TV fans remember her fondly as Catherine in the cult classic series, Beauty and the Beast.

In this 2006 interview taped a couple of days before Christmas with Sidewalks host Cindy Rhodes, Linda talked about her memories in playing Sarah Connor in the first two "The Terminator" movies, her long struggle with bipolar disorder, and her acting studies in New York with The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute.

At the time of the interview, she told us about her appearance in the Lifetime Television holiday movie, “Home by Christmas.”
