Kim on Army Wives

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Emmy Award® winner Kim Delaney is a popular TV actress.

Daytime audiences first met her as teenager Jenny Gardner Nelson on the soap opera All My Children.

She became best known to prime time viewers for her role as Detective Diane Russell on the crime drama N.Y.P.D. Blue. That role earned her two Emmy® nominations and one win, plus two Golden Globe® and three Screen Actors Guild® nominations.

Kim had a recurring part in The O.C., as well as starred in Philly and the first season of C.S.I. Miami.

Other roles include the TV-movie “10.5” (and its sequel), the Stephen King miniseries “Nightmares and Dreamscapes” and the feature film “Mission to Mars.”

In the full 2009 interview with SIDEWALK
S host Rafael Siegel, Kim talks about her starring role on Lifetime's Army Wives, why she chose more TV roles instead of feature film parts, and if acting classes help aspiring actors.
