He is `The World’s Greatest Athlete`
Born in born in Austin, Texas, Bryan Clay is
an American decathlete.
Bryan won the silver medal at the 2004 Olympics®,
but won the gold medal at the 2008 Olympics® in the
decathlon. He won gold at the 2005 World
Championships.
Featured on a special edition post-Beijing Olympics®
Wheaties cereal box, Bryan has been called “The
World’s Greatest Athlete.”
He is the founder of the Bryan Clay Foundation,
which was developed from his passion for the youth,
families, and building authentic community.
In this 2009 interview with SIDEWALKS
host Cindy Rhodes, Bryan talks about winning gold at
the 2008 Olympics® and
incorporating the Red Recovery Routine into his
training program.
