Brandi returns for her 2nd appearance
Brandi Chastain is a professional soccer
player.
She was on the U.S. women's national soccer team
from 1991 to 2004.
Brandi became an international celebrity
in the 1999 FIFA Women’s World Cup championship game after she blasted the
game-winning penalty kick past China, fell to her
knees, and peeled off her jersey in celebration.
She was with the San Jose CyberRays of the WUSA
(2001-2003), the California Storm in the WPSL,
and FC Gold Pride of the WPS league.
She is currently an assistant coach at the
top-five-ranked women's soccer team at Santa Clara
University.
In summer 2009, Brandi appeared on the ABC reality /
competition series, The Superstars.
In the latest 2009 interview with host Cindy Rhodes, Brandi
talks about the 10 year anniversary of the World Cup
moment, teaming up with Julio Iglesias, Jr. on ABC`s
The Superstars, and how she's living a
healthy balanced life at age 40.
