Teen Actress gives some
back-to-school must-haves
At age 16, she's co-starring as Julie Mayer, Teri
Hatcher's daughter, on the hit ABC TV series
Desperate Housewives, but teen actress Andrea
Bowen already has a full resume.
At the age of six, she played Young Cosette in “Les
Miserables.” Andrea later originated the role of
Marta Von Trapp in the original cast of the Broadway
revival of “The Sound of Music” and the role of
Adele in the Broadway musical production of “Jane
Eyre.”
She appeared in the films "Highball” and “New York
Crossing", as well as lent her voice in "Ice Age"
and "Bambi II."
In this August 2006 interview, host Cindy Rhodes
spoke to Andrea about the phenomenal success of Desperate Housewives
and how she got the role. Additionally, she answered
