Meet Natalie Manuel, a
correspondent for Sidewalks
In the fall of 2006,
Natalie Manuel made her TV debut and joined
the growing on-air team with an invitation by
Sidewalks host Rafael Siegel,
who knew her when they worked for the Sacramento
RiverCats, the Triple-A affiliate of Major
League Baseball's Oakland Athletics.
The 22-year old is a student at
California State University. She is majoring in
Communications - Broadcast Journalism.
Additionally, she has interned at NBC affiliate, KCRA,
and CBS affiliate, WCBS in New York.
Born in Sacramento, CA, Natalie is an immense
sports fan, whose future goal is to be sports
reporter and anchor. Luckily for Natalie, her
first set of Sidewalks interviews were,
ironically, two prominent sports figures:
National Hockey League's Mark Messier and
college basketball analyst Dick Vitale.
Natalie also interviewed actor Will Smith
during the San Francisco premiere of his film,
"The Pursuit of Happyness."
Natalie's other interest includes fashion. She
designs clothes on the side.
