Superstar Rain on the big screen

Rain (Jeong Ji-hoon) is an international artist. He is a pop singer, dancer, actor, model, and designer.

He is a top Korean R&B/pop singer, who debuted with the 2002 album "Rain," featuring the hit single “Bad Guy.”

His second album was "How to Avoid the Sun." Rain’s third album, "It’s Raining," became his most successful album to date both domestically and internationally and sold over one million copies in Asia. "Rain’s World" was released in 2006.

In 2005, Rain became the first Asian performing artist invited to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Rain is also a TV star in Korea. He starred in the 2003 drama series Sang Doo! Let’s Go To School and in the 2004 drama series Full House, which became one of the highest-rated Korean dramas of all time and awarded him the Best Actor Award at that year’s KBS Acting Awards. Additionally, he appeared in the 2005 miniseries “A Love to Kill.”

Rain made his feature film debut in “I’m a Cyborg, But That’s OK.” His US feature film debut was as race car driver Taejo Togokahn in “Speed Racer,” under the direction of the Wachowski brothers and the film’s second unit director, James McTeigue, all of whom reunited on “Ninja Assassin,” Rain's first big-screen starring role.

Rain was named one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People Who Shape Our World in 2006 and in 2007 People Magazine included him in their annual Most Beautiful People issue.
