“Dark Knight” star actress Maggie Gyllenhaal presents the Wildlife Conservation Society with $250,000 Donation at Central Park Zoo in New York City.

Critically-acclaimed actress Maggie Gyllenhaal, star of the box office smash “Dark Knight” opposite late actor Heath Ledger as well as such feature films as “World Trade Center,” ”Monster House,” “Mona Lisa Smile,” “Adaptation,” and “Donnie Darko,” was on hand on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 to present the Wildlife Conservation Society with a $250,000 donation on behalf of Fisher-Price at a special ceremony at New York City’s beloved and world-renowned Central Park Zoo.

The ceremony also launched Fisher-Price’s “Precious Planet” Collection of baby gear and newborn toys, including a wide selection of baby gear such as a high chair, gym, cradle swing, bouncer, potty, mobile, tub, bedding, and more. The line also features comforting fabrics, activities, and colorful, adorable baby animals like monkeys, giraffes, and polar bears.

The Wildlife Conservation Society works to save wildlife and wild places and also operates New York City’s famed zoos and aquarium.
