The makers of “Shrek” and TV favorite Jerry Seinfeld bring a computer-animated comedy that's creating a lot of "buzz." It's a buzz that has been heavily-promoted on Oprah, 30 Rock, Talkshow with Spike Feresten, and on every talk show around, it's the movie you all heard about..."BEE MOVIE."

Follow up:

In the story, Barry B. Benson (voiced by Seinfeld) just graduated from college and is ready to enter the work force at a company called Honex. But he quickly discovers a fate that awaits him there at the hive -- a fate in which he will be working himself to death literally. Barry wants more out of life, and so he decides to get brave and venture out into the human world.

His adventure begins when he meets a florist; a woman named Vanessa (voiced by Renee Zellweger), who comes to his rescue before he gets smashed by her boyfriend Ken (voiced by Patrick Warburton, currently of TV's Rules of Engagement). He soon falls in love with Vanessa and breaks the one of the most important rule of all beedom: he talks to a human. They soon strike up a friendship and, with her help, Benson explores a world unknown to him.

The movie goes from his first adventure to the outside world of the hive to trying to save the existence of the bees and their standard of living.

“Bee Movie” is a honey sweet, silly and cutesy animated comedy that is sure to please the 5 year olds in all of us. The plot is easy to understand with a great story about perseverance and finding you path in life. The story is paired with a cast of loveable and cute characters. The entire cast, which also include the voice talents of Chris Rock (as Mooseblood the Mosquito), Matthew Broderick (Adam Flayman), Kathy Bates (Janet Benson), John Goodman (Layton T. Montgomery), Megan Mullally (Trudy, Honex Tour Guide), Barry Levinson (Martin Benson), Rip Torn (Lou Lo Duca), Oprah Winfrey (Judge Bumbleden), Eddie Izzard (Bee Army General) and Ray Liotta, singer Sting, and CNN's Larry King (playing themselves), gave a great performance and injected warmth and provided plenty of chuckles to a theater full of kids and parents alike.

This is a funny, zany and warm animation for everyone to enjoy. I’m 29 years old, and I even enjoyed it.
